About Us
The Sheffield Rod and Gun Club Inc. was formed over seventy years ago to promote the conservation of hunting and fishing sports in Pennsylvania. The club is nestled in a quiet valley off Bull Hill on over eighty acres in the Alleghany National Forest near the village of Sheffield. Today, with over six hundred active members, we encourage and participate in many conservation, hunting and fishing programs in our local area. The club sponsors several programs during the year to promote firearm safety including Hunter Safety Classes, Youth Field Day, and Women's Pistol Course. Gun and Hunters Safety is one of our important goals.
Our main clubhouse has a PA. State Malt Beverage License and we are open for beer sales to members on select days. During the summer we have several BBQ's.
We have a 125 yard rifle range, two trap ranges and an archery range. We now have a 200 yard rifle range.
During the year we sponsor many local activities including our annual youth fishing derby, youth pheasant hunt, youth field day, hunter safety classes and women's pistol course to name a few programs. We sponsor a youth trap team along with adult trap teams that shoot in summer and winter leagues.
If you would like to join our club you can find membership information on our website or call the club directly.
